A Heart for Missions
We have designed our education, kitchen and
fellowship buildings to double as a staging area for visiting medical and
construction teams serving in Mexico.
Several of our church members, as well as
Winter Texans and other friends, work in the colonias of Nuevo Progreso.
For information regarding rooms for staying teams, we invite
you to browse our
Mission Info Packet.
Update on Mexico
It
saddens us that the recent violent territorial uprising from rival drug cartels
has added tremendous strain to the already impoverished border towns south of
our area in Mexico.
News
that food shipments are not being allowed into the areas to refurbish the local
grocery and commerce stores has caused price gouging for the most basic of
necessities such as bread, rice and beans.
This
is why it has become even more important that we as Christians continue to
assist Mexico’s border residents in any way possible. We pray that you too will
find it in your heart to answer the call to respond to their ever-present urgent
need.
We
thank you for past contributions and pray that you will continue to financially
support, understand and pray for the countless families and individuals
currently being affected by this violence.
